CEO of Magnoli & Partners, Gian Carlo Magnoli Bocchi has been a registered professional architect since 1993. His buildings stand in many cities, including Milan and Rome in Italy, London in UK, Boston and New York in the USA, Athens in Greece.
Director of the European Union “PRISMA Research Project” on Sustainable Built Environment, Director of Research + Development and Innovative Technologies in the Kilometro Rosso Science and Technology Park building Site, Member of the main Design Team who designed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Home of the Future, Co-Director of MIT Kinetic Design Group, he serves as a consultant to United Nations (ECLAC) on Sustainable Urban Development. He has lectured and taught internationally in Europe, US, Latin America and Asia on sustainable, interactive, and kinetic architecture. He has won numerous awards in architectural ideas competitions. Magnoli & Partners has so far collaborated to the successful construction of more than one million squared meters of A Class (Italian quantitative indicator of low energy consumption) including some GBC LEED Platinum in Europe, and is recognized by EU Government as one of the business leaders in Europe in the field of Energy Savings.
